We will be racing at the Miami County Speedway
July 4th & 5th for "The Big-Bang"
UPDATE
Friday night- During hot-laps Friday night Laine caught some major air when he flipped repeatedly in turn 1. He flipped end over end & rolled several times. They are working as I update this trying to be ready to compete tomorrow night at MCS. They are meeting fellow racer Dennis Veach at midnight to pick up parts after Dennis competes at Camden Speedway.
THANK YOU DENNIS!!!!
Thanks Uncle Chris & Aunt Stacy for the help.
Saturday Morning- as of 8:45 AM it looks like we WILL be able to race tonight.
I will post it here if that changes. Hope to see you at the races tonight.
We DID get to race..6th in heat (4 transfered into A), 4th in B & 11th in FEATURE
24 cars competed in the non-wing class. We will be back as good as new next weekend.
Here are some pics of our crew working on our mangled car.
Laine competed at the Camden Speedway for the first time Friday (June 27th) & finished 2nd in his heat before STORMS hit & we called it a night.
In lap 8 of 10 in his non-wing heat he ran too low & bounced into the cones, came back onto the track in 6th, with 2 laps remaining he made his way back up to 2nd place behind Dennis Veach.
(he ran non-wing & winged...during his winged heat is when mother nature interrupted)
We will definitely be back.
Laine takes 3rd in MCS FEATURE
2nd in HEAT & 2nd in DASH
